Here are some soft plastic baits I made to imitate dying shad. I based them off of Larry Dahlberg's Mr. Wiggley. I wasn't too impressed with there action but I got a follow from a musky with the first cast I made. I will continue to tweak the design and the plastisol to softener mixture. I am going to make a two piece mold next time instead of a one piece mold.

Looks like a pork rind, as I commented on the Facebook post. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Can you play with colors? If so when you're playing with the new recipe try adding some black to the head and back. Try red white combo too, especially if you do a two piece.

I'm going to pour some more of the smaller type. I'm going to use white as the base then brush in alumidust on the top-half. I need to get a heatgun to seal in the dust. Looking for one now. I'll update soon.

I decided to make a swimbait instead. The tail did not wiggle as well as I liked so I will have to tinker with the model. Next thing i'm going to work on is a virtical jig for musky.

I tied some jigs. I used pink nail polish to color the lead of the pink one. Definitely going to get more into this.

Tom, those are super-cool. What kind of fish are you looking to get with these?
